They use a backstrap loom as taught by their elders but bring new ideas, colors, and formats shaped by collective learning. Each piece reflects their cultural identity and their growth as young, creative women committed to their community.

In addition to the upfront commission fee, Colibrí receives 50% of the profit from the sale of this original work.

They work with the backstrap loom as taught by their elders, but incorporate new ideas, colors, and formats inspired by collective learning spaces. Each piece they make reflects their cultural identity and their growth as young, creative women committed to their community.
