Las Dalias is a collective of women embroiderers from Huixtán, Chiapas, formed by Isabel, Elena, Micaela, Sebastiana, and Luci. Their floral embroidery is so precisely executed it has earned collaborations with designers and brands across Mexico and internationally, placing their work in a conversation well beyond their region.
Beyond aesthetics, their embroidery has become a tool for generating income, building autonomy, and creating recognition — on their own terms, in their own community.
Proud Mary's collaboration with Las Dalias is facilitated by Kiptik, a long-term partner that works alongside artisan groups across Chiapas to strengthen their organizations, promote fair trade, and expand access to learning opportunities.
